Atletico Madrid visited Hong Kong for the first time, beating hosts Kitchee 6-1. The match also served as a farewell for legendary Kitchee captain Huang Yang, playing his last match for Kitchee after his first was against Chelsea in 2011.

Legends of the game including Francesco Totti, Rivaldo, Marco Materazzi, David Villa, Alessandro Del Piero and others converged in Hong Kong to play a game against Hong Kong's legends. The match ended 7-3 in the World Legends' favour, with a lively carnival atmosphere that saw attendees such as Chief Executive John KC Lee, Jer Lau and Anson Kong of Mirror, among others.

2022 KING'S CUP

Tajikistan were crowned champions in the 48th running of the King's Cup held in Chiang Mai. They participated alongside Malaysia, Trinidad and Tobago, as well as the hosts Thailand.
